Few things are more frustrating than pressing your TV’s power button and seeing nothing happen. Whether it is a sudden issue after years of reliable use or a new set that refuses to start, a nonresponsive television does not always mean it is broken. In many cases, the problem is simple to identify and fix at home.
This guide walks through practical steps to help you understand why your TV might not turn on and how to solve the issue quickly. By checking each possibility methodically, you can save time, avoid unnecessary repair costs, and know when it is time to call a professional.
Start with the basics: power supply checks
Before assuming there is a technical fault inside the TV, confirm that power is reaching it properly.
